The last
chapter is dedicated to the Poems and Ditties, the most suggestive was written
by Giuseppe Martelli - The Lost Days dedicate to Ripatransone and The Old Threshing written by: Arturo Sardini dedicated to the countryside.
This is a poem of four stanza with an ABAB rhyme and it is dedicated to the life in the countryside which describe the working environment and the festive atmosphere in occasion of the threshing in ancient times.
This poem is also a denunciation against the progress and consumerism considering them as monsters.
The second poem written by Giuseppe Martelli which is dedicated to Ripatransone is more intellectual.
The inner voice is an old oak it tells us of its remembrances, the difficulties of an entire life always subjected to a strong wind but it is there.
This is a pure love for a village everything of it is a source of remembrance even an old wall and a particular place coloured by a red sunset, the voice think at the voices of the old dead friends.
In the last stanza the inner voice reveals that Ripatransone is a quite and peaceful place where it is possible dreaming and this is the reason for its love, and like an old oak, lashing by a strong wind and with its roots on a slippery rock.
