The Madonna del Rosario is one of the traditional and most famous and important depictions in which the Catholic Church worships Mary: the Virgin is represented with a blue robe and a rosary crown in her hands.
The origin of the Madonna del Rosario was attributed to the appearance of Mary to San Domenico in the year1208 in Prouille, the first convent, the saint founded.
The Catholic Church celebrates the feast of the Madonna del Rosario on October 7 of each year.
St. Catherine From Siena, was a laywoman associated with the Dominican Order, she was a mystic, activist, and author who had a great influence on Italian the literature and in the Catholic Church. She has been canonized in the year 1461, she is also the Doctor of the Church.
