Description
Our Lady Of Mount Carmel is the title given to the blessed virgin for her role as a patroness of the Carmelite Order, the Christians who lived as hermits on the mount Carmel.
At the center of this painting, there is the Madonna enthroned with her son, seated on her knee, who is speaking with the two saints, and in particular with St. Rocco depicted with the typical clothes and objects of a traveler, resting on the ground, and with the white flower symbol of purity.
The saint with the cardinal clothes and the lion is San Marco, who holds a model of a church.
Between the two saints there are two angels, playing a violin and a minstrel.
In the lower center there is a piece of paper with the painter's signature with a pomegranate on it, which represents the blood of Christ.
In the background there are two fortifications.
The celestial word is divided by the two flying angels, with the red drape.
