This church was built in 1245.
The ceiling is very precious because it is antique and its is made of lacunars painted with floral patterns: the Virgin Mary and the Baby Jesus in the centre, with a Shepherd and St. Catherine from Siena.
On the walls there are paintings of 1400, they've come back to light after the fall of the plaster and they were restored in 1991. The best one is on the right of the front door. This painting represents the Virgin Mary of Mercy with St.Francis and the evangelist St. John.
At the foot of the Virgin Mary there are loyals. St. Francis is represented with stigmata on his hands.
The church is entirely painted with the story of saints.
The most important is "The Baptism of Jesus" by Salvatosi
