Sometimes a poem can be an historical document, as in this case when at the centre of Ripatransone, in the Piazza Matteotti, the hole community was astonished by a chasm, it was the 10th August 1994.
First Stanza: Ripa, is full of caves, during the night, the nature has created a chasm., fortunately without damages to people and things.
Second Stanza: At 4am the nature has re opened a chasm, the last one was 28 years ago.
Third Stanza: The workers have found bones of the dead, vertebrae, rib cages and skulls covered by a white mold.
Fourth Stanza: The poet has consulted old books, to refresh his memory, and he discovered that, four centuries ago, there was a church, but not nettle.
Fifth Stanza: This church was dedicated to St. Biagio, an old parish church ruined in the 1660, its parishoners were simlple and poor, but Saints.
Sixth Stanza: Even the curate of St. Gregory and the brotherhood of Death, have sang in this church for the mass and psalms and glory.
Seventh Stanza. The singers had to close the doors of this church for the noises from the construction of the cathedral. This fact has been written by a priest, who studied at Bologna and not in Rome, his name was the Archdeacon Canonical, Filippo Rotigni, born in Ripatransone (1697-1780)
Eight Stanza: This landslide was useful for reopen the pages of history, to know how it was the life of past times, and to refresh our memories.
