Description:

St Charles Borromeo is painted during a celestial conversation, surrounded by angels and illuminated by the divine light.

St Charles, a cardinal is dressed in white and red vestments, in the right corner there is hia hat.

His festivity is every 4th November, he is invoked against the plague, he is also protector of catechists, clergy, teachers.

Generally, like in this painting, the saint is depicted in an ecstatic prayer attitude.
