Description:
The subject of this fresco is taken from one hill of the five hills of Ripatransone, a medieval town, that the Italians call 'Borgo'
At the centre there is the Virgin Mary, dressed with a blue dress, the color of heaven, a white female headdress and her particular halo.
The infant Jesus is comfortably seated on her right, his fluffy hands are on his heart, like his mother, Mary.
The heart is their link, it will be broken.
Two pious women pray fervently and look at Mary and son, they are inhabitants of Ripatransone, with it three towers.
The tower on the left with the redeemer of seven meters high, belongs to the Cathedral, dedicated to two Saints, Gregory the great and Margherita, on the right there is the tower of the Podestà, and the ancient of the two St. Augustine's tower, of the XIV Century.
At the sides of the fresco, there are the roof tiles are made of terracotta.
