The Nativity Of The Virgin

 

It has been painted by Ubaldo Ricci and Italian panter of the late - baroque.

At the centre there is Mary with her father Saint Joachim and her mother Saint Anne.

Joachim and Saint Anne are her parents, Joachim is shepherd who lived in Jerusalem, the cople is elderly they cannot have children.

Th legend says that in front of Joachim appeared and angel saying that  they will have a child, Saint Anne has had the same vision.
